<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot plug equipment where the output current of an output current limit circuit is set off in initial state while it is set on when the connector is connected to the hot plug equipment body. <P>SOLUTION: In the hot plug equipment, a charge current is supplied to a capacitor 6 for protecting contact points of connectors 3 and 5 for connecting a power supply 2 to a hot plug equipment body 1, through an output current limit circuit 10 and the connector 3.
