<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system which, when one user updates a document, enables another user to know the content of the updated document without any troublesome tasks. <P>SOLUTION: The document management system of a network construction comprises a document management server which stores a plurality of documents and a plurality of client terminal devices using the document management server. The terminal devices 2 are provided with an operation logging part 24 which records editing operation information generated when editing one document stored in the document management server 1. The system is configured such that, when a first user specified by user information edits the document using one of the client terminal devices 2, in the case where a second user similarly specified by the user information browses the same document by use of a document browsing part 27, the client device 2 on the side of the second user can refer to the editing operation information of the client device 2 on the side of the first user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
