摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a differential pressure of a diesel particulate filter (DPF) highly precisely in order to properly judge the time for the regeneration of the DPF. <P>SOLUTION: In an ECU 51, when an engine is stopped, the temperature of a differential pressure sensor 43 for detecting the differential pressure of the DPF 31 is estimated by an intake air temperature sensor 42, and an output value of the differential pressure sensor 43 at that time is regarded as an offset error of the differential pressure sensor 43 and an offset amendment value which cancels the offset error is calculated and stored in a memory section 512. When finding the differential pressure of the DPF 31, the temperature of the differential pressure sensor 43 at that time is estimated and an offset amendment value corresponding to the estimated value of the temperature is established.
