PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator provided with left and right doors of hinged double doors on a front opening of a refrigerator main body, having a configuration in which a gasket in which both of left and right doors adhere closely to mutually opposing faces when they are closed is adopted to prevent leakage from a thermal insulation material, and capable of increasing width in the left and right directions of shelves formed on rear sides of both of left and right doors with an easily assembled structure. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with the left and right doors of hinged double doors on the front opening of the storage vessel main body. The gasket in which both of left and right doors adhere closely to opposing side faces mutually when they are closed is attached to both of left and right doors. A door cap connecting a surface plate with a rear plate is provided on the opposing side faces of both of left and right doors, and the gasket is attached to the door cap. The connection of the rear plate and the door cap has a configuration in which a locking projecting part formed in either of a rear part of the door cap and the rear plate is elastically fitted in a locking recessed part formed in the other of them.
