PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a kit for simply assaying the proportion of a glycated protein without separately determining a specific protein in the method for assaying the proportion of the glycated protein in the specific protein by using an enzyme. SOLUTION: A sample is brought into contact with a solid phase to separate a prescribed amount of the specific protein. The glycated protein in the protein is assayed by using the enzyme. When the proportion of the glycated protein in the specific protein is assayed by using the enzyme, the proportion of the glycated protein can accurately and simply be assayed at a low cost without separately determining the specific protein.
