PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive for an immersion nozzle which does not deteriorate the thermal insulation effect of a ceramic fiber sheet. SOLUTION: The adhesive for the immersion nozzle is for adhering the ceramic fiber sheet onto the outer periphery of the immersion nozzle and comprises a mixture paste containing 40-80 wt.% colloidal silica and 60-20 wt.% powdery bulk fiber comprising at least one chosen from alumina, silica, mullite and zirconia.
