PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method in a cellular phone with which it is possible to talk extremely easily with monthly fixed-amount low charges without altering a conventional cellular phone system. SOLUTION: Call originating data from a cellular phone 10 are converted from ordinary audio data signals into IP data signals to be handled as IP data, and transmitted and a base station 13 that receives the IP data signals, handles the IP data signals similarly to the ordinary data IP data signals to automatically pass an IP data pass band 14c of a base station exchange 14.
