PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine for transferring fax data with a simple operation while an operator can judge a transit destination of fax data without printing the content of received fax data on a recording paper. SOLUTION: When fax data is received (S1), the content of fax data is displayed on a display unit (S3). When a "printing" key is pressed on a fax data display screen (YES in S4), the content of fax data is printed on a recording paper (S9), and when a "distribution" key is pressed (NO in S4, YES in S5), a distribution method selecting screen is displayed (S6). On the distribution method selecting screen, selection of E-mail transmission of received fax data, transmission to another computer, transmission to another facsimile machine is made enabled (S7), and each distribution method is implemented based on an instruction of the operator (S8, S10, S12).
