PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite semipermeable membrane for sewage disposal which exhibits a stable and high permeation flow rate with the lapse of time, and a method for sewage disposal using the same. SOLUTION: A separation functional layer composed of a reaction product of a multifunctional amine compound and a multifunctional acid halide is formed on a fine porous support membrane of the composite semipermeable membrane, and a compound having at least one aldehyde group forms a covalent bond only with the amino group on the surface of the separation functional layer.
