PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin thread feeder for sewing machine which saves the work to wind bobbins and to replace bobbins for sewing machine of embroidery machine, and enhances the working efficiency by feeding bobbin thread directly from the bobbin thread winding core preventing the bobbin thread from being entangled. SOLUTION: The bobbin thread feeder for sewing machine is to feed a bobbin thread 1 to the sewing machine directly from the bobbin thread winding core 2. The bobbin thread feeder forms a notch 31a on the back side and comprises a bobbin case 31 held on the fitting side by the shuttle fitting mechanism 4, the outer shuttle hook 32 driven rotating by a rotary hook rotation driving mechanism 5, a cap member 33 of the bobbin case 31, a bobbin thread feeding tube 6 which opens opposing the notch 31a formed on the back side of the bobbin case 31, a thread tension device 7 located between the bobbin thread feeding tube 6 and the bobbin thread winding core 2, and a thread sweeping mechanism 9 located below a needle plate 8.
