PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor wherein a shaving foil which can self-retain the gutter shape thereof can be formed into a uniform thickness, and therefore, which is equipped with the shaving foil having a reduced thickness and a good cutting sharpness. SOLUTION: A shearing blade 17 is constituted of a laterally long fixed shaving foil 51 which is formed into the gutter shape, and a movable cutter 52 which comes into slide-contact with the internal surface of the fixed shaving foil 51. On the shearing surface of the fixed shaving foil 51 with the movable cutter 52, slits 145 and cutting blades 146 which are formed on the peripheral edge of the slit 145 are alternately formed. By forming a sheetlike shaving foil blank 157 by the electroforming, the thickness of the shaving foil blank 157 is uniformized, and the variation in thickness is eliminated.
