<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dealing with out-of-plane calibration errors in a single plane angiogram and foreshortening. <P>SOLUTION: This is a method for obtaining accurate spatial parameters (for instance, diameter, sectional area, segment length). Three dimensional positions of structures are obtained from two single plane X-ray angiograms imaged in arbitrary but different directions against an object. The three dimensional information obtained as mentioned above is used to correct measured values of above-mentioned parameters with respect to sources of generally generated errors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
