<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording body which is excellent in water resistance of a film, printed image quality, shelf life, uniformity of an image and a sense of gloss, and which can offer the image equivalent to a silver halide photograph, having few coating defects in coating. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording body comprises a substrate, an aggregate pigment with a mean particle diameter of 1.5 μm or less, which is provided on at least one surface on the substrate, and at least two recording layers containing polyvinyl alcohol with a polymerization degree of 3,000 or more. The recording layer comprises at least one inside recording layer near the substrate and an outside recording layer which is formed on the outer surface of the inside recording layer; a saponification degree of polyvinyl alcohol in the outside recording layer is lower than that of polyvinyl alcohol in the inside recording layer; and the saponification degree of polyvinyl alcohol in the inside recording layer is set at 97% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
