<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium, which is suitable for inkjet recording with aqueous pigment ink and with which an image being excellent in color developability and scratch resistance, having no bleeding and high image quality and making a long term preservation possible can be formed, and, the color tone, luster and touching feel of which are similar to a general coating printing paper such as art paper or coat paper and which can be used for various printing services such as the formation of commercial leaflets and pamphlets or publishing/advertizing relations. <P>SOLUTION: In the recording medium comprising a coating layer mainly made of a pigment and a binder and provided on at least one side of a base material, satin white and/or calcium sulfate occupy at least 40 wt.% of the total pigment in the coating layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
