<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable container for a fuel cell and a fuel cell capable of housing an electrolyte member, compact and rigid, and capable of a uniform supply of gas/equalization of a temperature gradient inside the container/a high-efficiency electric connection. <P>SOLUTION: The container is provided with a base body 6 having a recess part for containing an electrolyte member 3 having a first and a second electrodes 4, 5, a first fluid flow channel 8 formed from a bottom face to an outer face of the recess part, a first wiring conductor 10 guided from the bottom face to the outer face of the recess part, a lid body 7 mounted on a top face of the base body 6, a second fluid flow channel 9 formed from an underside to an outer face of the lid body 7, a second wiring conductor 11 guided from the underside to the outer face of the lid body 7, and a heating element 12 formed at least either a periphery of an opening of the first fluid flow channel 8 at the bottom face of the recess part or a periphery of an opening of the second fluid flow channel 9 at the underside of the lid body 7 for heating either an lower-side main face or an upper-side main face of the electrolyte member 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
