<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave absorber which is capable of effectively absorbing radio waves of a high-frequency band (GHz) including prescribed frequencies and kept stable in radio wave absorbing characteristics independently of an operating environment. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic material is composed of particulates of single crystals which contain, at least, one kind of magnetic metal element, have a grain diameter of the order of nanometers, possess single magnetic domains. The magnetic material is wrapped in a layered carbon graphite to form a magnetic metal-occluding carbon nano-capsule, and the magnetic metal-occluding carbon nano-capsules are dispersed and filled in a mother material to constitute the wave absorber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
