<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bat for rubber-ball baseball which can reduce wrong hits. <P>SOLUTION: This bat for rubber-ball baseball is equipped with a viscous/elastic layer 2 formed by continuously laminating a viscous/elastic body extending to a range of at least 90°of the outer periphery of a core material 7a of a hitting part 7. The thickness d of the viscous/elastic layer 2 is set to be 2 mm or higher. For the viscous/elastic body constituting the viscous/elastic layer 2, the value of modulus loss at a temperature of 20°C and an angular frequencyω= 100Hz is 0.2 MPa or lower, and also, the value of storage modulus is 1.4 MPa or lower. By the constitution, the centroid movement of the ball for rubber-ball baseball of which the deformation at the time of hitting is large is suppressed, and wrong hits can be reduced in rubber-ball baseball. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
