<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for reversibly thermochromic writing utensils with metallic luster, which gives writings with metallic luster and color changing properties and which makes it possible to visually recognize a distinct color tone of writings without deteriorating the metallic luster and the color changing properties. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition contains coloring agents comprising a reversibly thermochromic pigment and a pigment with transparent metallic luster, water, and a water-soluble organic solvent, wherein the coloring agents account for 4-50 wt.% of the whole ink composition and wherein the weight ratio of the reversibly thermochromic pigment to the pigment with metallic luster in the coloring agents is 1:(0.2 to 10). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
