PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image detection apparatus capable of capturing an image in an extremely short period of time when requiring accurate image detection, and timely detecting a transitional image, on the basis of entire orientation image detection. SOLUTION: An image detection apparatus has a curved reflection mirror 11 and a basic image detection means 10 for detecting the image at a wide viewing angle. Additionally, the image detection apparatus is equipped with an image sensor movement means 15 for identifying a change site in the wide viewing image captured by the basic image detection means 10 and moving an image sensor 2 to preponderantly photograph the periphery of the identified change site.
