PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow visual recognition of images formed from wide angles like all the directions. SOLUTION: This image display device comprises a light emitting unit 1 with a plurality of luminescent bodies 2 disposed in one line, a control means 4 creating prescribed images by blinking the luminescent bodies 2 at a prescribed timing, and a reflecting board 5 laterally rotated in relation to the row of the luminescent bodies 2 to form images of luminescence from the unit 1. By erecting the reflecting board 5 eccentrically to a rotating axis 7, images can be visually recognized from all the directions. A half mirror is used as the reflecting board 5 to enhance surfacing feeling of the images.
