PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a soft sheet or the like so as not to be displaced during processing. SOLUTION: The method for setting soft sheets or the like comprises expanding and abutting soft sheets or the like on a plate transformed three-dimensionally into the same shape as place to be used, fixing a pressing plate similar in shape to a supporting plate to the top surface of the soft sheets or the like, and integrally fixing the supporting plate to the periphery of of the pressing plate, in which the supporting plate surface and the pressing plate surface are provided with processing holes.
