PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high processing rate as a whole without relying upon the upgrading of the processing rate of each processing unit with regard to a plate making device. SOLUTION: In this device, stations S1 to S4 corresponding to the number of processes for at least plate making are sequentially arranged, and each of two or more appropriate processing devices 30 to 34 to each process for plate making is arranged at each stations S1 to S4 in the order of the processes for plate making. In a control method, two or more printing plates 1 are sequentially transferred by a transfer device 11 from one station to the following station in succession according to the order of the processes for plate making.
