PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent variations in distance among density boundary portions of an ND filter. SOLUTION: The ND filter used for light quantity adjusting has a plastic substrate and a filter portion having a plurality of areas evaporated on the substrate and different in density, the boundary portions of the filter portion are almost parallel to a molecular orientation direction of the substrate.
