PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a return shaft for return air with less constraints of installation sites capable of being installed at a carry-in/out doorway of a device or at a place blocking an evacuation path. SOLUTION: N-pieces of column materials 11a-11f are arranged at places constituting the peak points of a n-angle (n is an integer of three or greater) and extend from a floor surface to a ceiling surface. N- or (n+1)-pieces of beam materials 12a-12d connect the column materials 11a-11d at their upper ends. A curtain 13 is mounted on the beam materials 12a, 12b, 12c to closably cover a space among the column materials 11a-11d at a gap to the floor surface in a visible-through fashion. The column materials 11a, 11d at both ends where the space is opened without being covered with the curtain 13 are connectable to a wall face 2 on the outside of a room across its door 1.
