PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a ridge section, which simplifies construction in terms of detailing at a ridge edge of a flat ridge, a corner ridge, etc. when a roof tile is laid, and which reduces a decrease in waterproof performance due to a deterioration caused by a long-term external environment. SOLUTION: When the roof tile is used for a sloped roof, a gap, which occurs in the case of simply sticking an elastic seal material, can be closed through the use of the construction method using the elastic seal material and a sealant in the construction of the ridge section; and the excellent effect of further increasing the waterproof performance is exerted by sticking a sheet-like waterproof material on the upper part of the elastic seal material.
