PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster for facilitating either a fixing or a removing of a brake to the caster or from the caster when the brake part is fixed to the caster or when the brake part is removed from the caster and further capable of eliminating any malfunction of the brake part when a stacking is performed as the caster is used for a shopping cart. SOLUTION: A caster part 1 and a brake part 2 are separately formed. The brake part 2 is removably attached to the rear part of the caster part 1. Then, the caster part 1 is made such that a wheel 5 is rotatably attached through a wheel shaft 6 to a caster frame 4 which is installed to be turnable below a fixing plate 3.
