PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding apparatus equipped with a manifold nozzle seal for enhancing reliability and cost efficiency. SOLUTION: The injection molding apparatus is equipped with a manifold having a manifold melt channel, a nozzle having a nozzle melt channel, a slidable seal which has a seal melt channel arranged between the nozzle melt channel and the manifold melt channel, and a biasing element for maintaining a sealed melt pathway running through the manifold, seal and nozzle melt channels by effecting tightly sealed contact between the slidable seal, the manifold and the nozzle.
