An improved fitting for linking an annexe tent to a camper van has a two part strip separated by a sliding clasp fastener (30) with one edge of the strip having a bead (22) to secure into the railing (16) on the side of the van and the other end having a bead (26) to link to the beaded edge of the tent via a double edged socket strip (28). The user is able to separate the tent from the van if required. Fitting the tent is eased by first fitting one half of the strip to the van and one half to the tent and simply joining the two sections via the sliding clasp fastener. No modifications are required to either the tent or the van.
