<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user management method, a user management device, a user management program, and a user management system, which enable labor saving when users are managed in groups different from departments to which the users belong. <P>SOLUTION: The user management device can be connected to a user information storing part which stores therein identification information of a user and group information indicating a group to which the user belong, these pieces of the information being correlated with each other; a group information storing part which stores therein identification information of a representative user representative of the group and group information of the group, these pieces of the information being correlated with each other; and a personnel information storing part which stores therein department information indicating a department to which the user belong and the identification information of the user, these pieces of the information being correlated with each other. The user management device accepts an input of the identification information of the user, obtains the group information corresponding to the identification information accepted in the inputting part from the user information storing part, obtains the identification information of the representative user corresponding to this group information from the group information storing part, and obtains the department information corresponding to this identification information of the representative user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
