<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make operation speed of an electric motor as low as possible, in regard to a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle comprises a planetary gear type power transmission mechanism provided with a sun gear 21 provided coaxially with rotating shafts of an internal combustion engine 3 and the electric motor 4 and connected to the rotating shaft of the internal combustion engine 3, a ring gear 25 connected to the rotating shaft of the electric motor 4, and a carrier 24 pivotally supporting an inner pinion 23 meshed with the sun gear 21 and an outer pinion 23 meshed with the ring gear 25 and connected to an output shaft 26; a transmission 6 changing the speed of rotations inputted in an input shaft 61 and transmitting that to driving wheels 9L, 9R; and a rotation direction switching mechanism 12 switching a state outputting the rotations of the carrier 24 to the transmission 6 while keeping its normal rotations and a state outputting that by reversing the rotations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
