<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switch control circuit for supplying a power from one terminal to the other terminal while stepping up or down in which the circuit is protected by detecting an overcurrent. <P>SOLUTION: Four switches M1-M4 constituting an H bridge 1 are controlled through a driver control section 16 and a switching control circuit 18. Current level is detected by means of current sensors 12a and 12b and fed to a current control section 20. A feedback control section 24 performs switching control of the current control section 20 by bringing an MODE signal to Low at the time of step up and monitors a continuous current being detected by the current sensor 12a. At the time of step down, the MODE signal is brought to Hi and the current control section 20 is subjected to switching control thus monitoring a continuous current being detected by the current sensor 12b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
