<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator without a machine room allowing miniaturization of equipment for preventing a temperature rise without allowing sunlight to directly fall on significant equipment such as a winding machine and a control panel, even in a glazed hoistway, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This elevator is constituted by installing the winding machine 1 and the control panel 2 within the hoistway 3. The elevator is provided with a unit 5 formed by storing heating equipment within the hoistway 3 into a box body 5 and a temperature control means 7 for suppressing the temperature rise within the box body 5. The heating equipment contains either one of the winding machine 1 and the control panel 2 and further has a temperature detection means 8 for detecting the temperature within the box body 5. The temperature control means 7 is made to operate when the temperature within the box body 5 reaches a prescribed temperature based on an output of the temperature detection means 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
