<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor retractor which does not press an occupant body when a webbing belt is worn, restricts the period of generating motor driving noise to the required minimum when the webbing belt is stored, and smoothly stores the webbing belt. <P>SOLUTION: Since the winding force of a webbing belt attributable to the urging force of an urging member is set to the strength corresponding to the occupant non-pressing property, an occupant body is not pressed by the webbing belt when the webbing belt is worn. On the other hand, when the webbing belt is stored, the winding force of the webbing belt is gradually reduced as the winding amount of the webbing belt wound by a winding shaft is increased.
