<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a network to be extended to a large-scale network, and to efficiently perform route computation, even if the network is the one which requires complicated processing such as a multilayer network. <P>SOLUTION: Self-connected link information and link cost information are advertized to the other node in a self-virtual node. These pieces of information are received and held, and advertisements of the link information and the link cost information of a link between a node which corresponds to an interface of the self-virtual node and a node which corresponds to the interface of each virtual node of a level 2 or higher are received from nodes which correspond to interfaces.
