<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system capable of confirming the operating condition of equipment from a remote place. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting conditions of respective LED 22 to 24 of a light emitting part 25 of equipment 1 to be monitored is transmitted through first to third optical fibers 31 to 33 to first to third converters 35 to 37. The respective converters 35 to 37 sense lights from the optical fibers 31 to 33, and discriminate colors. The respective converters 35 to 37 are provided with green signal lines 41 and 42 for outputting "H" when green components are detected, blue signal lines 43 and 44 for outputting "H" when blue components are detected and red signal lines 45 and 46 for outputting "H" when red components are detected. Contact signals are outputted from the respective signal lines 41 to 47 to a network device 61. The network device 61 discriminates the lighting conditions of the respective LED 22 to 24 and the light emitting condition constituted of the lighting colors from the combination of the contact signals, and transmits an electronic mail or SNMP signal corresponding to the discrimination result to a monitoring device 63 connected to a network 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
