MAGNETIC DISK AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk which prevents a thermal fluctuation trouble and has a high S/N ratio even in high recording density. SOLUTION: In the magnetic disk 10 provided with a magnetic layer on a disk substrate 1, the magnetic layer comprises an exchange coupled film 5 provided with a first magnetic layer 5a, a second magnetic layer 5c and a spacer layer 5b formed between the first and the second magnetic layers 5a and 5c.
