PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for executing image processing to received print data, and for outputting the processed data to a print engine capable of preventing the deterioration of image quality without increasing the load of a bus in the device. SOLUTION: An image processor 2 for executing image processing to received print data 3, and for outputting image-processed data to a print engine 4 is provided with a memory 23 for data storage, a bus 24 for data transmission, a color converting part 253 for converting the expression format of the color information of the received print data 3 and a trapping part 254 for executing trapping processing to the processed data posterior to the processing by the color converting part 253 before the processed data are stored through the bus 24 in the memory 23, which are both connected through the bus 24 to the memory 23.
