PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the failure of a memory to be used for a communication exchange when a system is driven. SOLUTION: When a start program for the communication exchange 2 is executed, a program and data which are to be executed are stored into a predetermined area of the memory 25. Thereby an area which is not used when driving the system is secured. The communication exchange 2 receiving a command for memory check from a management device 4 writes/reads checking data in/from the area which is not used when driving the system, and when neither of the data coincides with each other, transmits a message indicating memory abnormality to the management device 4.
