PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact transmission device capable of absorbing fabrication tolerance on a car seat. SOLUTION: A car seat includes a transmission device 12 to connect a seat backrest to a locking device in order to move the locking device of a runner to the operating position. The transmission device 12 comprises at least one cable 13, a spring, and a driving mechanism which drives the spring over the first stroke capable of unlocking the locking device of the runner, independently continuing the second stroke, and tilting the seat backrest 8 forward.
