PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnet door lock device for preventing intrusion into rooms by picking locks, cutting or destroying dead bolts. SOLUTION: An electromagnet's electromagnetic forces, attracting forces, etc. are used for locking or unlocking doors 4. The electromagnet 10 is built in door frames 5 getting into contact with door edges or within door bodies. The electromagnet is covered with steel plates or the like for protection from damages when doors are opened, closed or collided and is fixed to door frames contacting doors. The electromagnet can also be installed at existing doors. If the door frame at which the electromagnet is installed is made of other materials than steels such as aluminum and its electromagnetic forces, attracting forces, etc. are ineffective, a receiving metal is attached to the door member facing the electromagnet. Lock and unlock operation is carried out using an indoor switch, remote operation (remote control) from outside, cylinder lock or thumb turn, ten-key or card lock, finger print lock, etc. are used separately or in combination.
