PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a trajectory of a tool, by which trajectory, a feed rate does not suddenly change irrespective of the shape of a machining portion. SOLUTION: The method calculates a minimum circumscribed circle which is a minimum circle circumscribing an outer circumferential line of the upper surface of the machining portion (S2), and calculates the central point of the machining portion, which is the central point of the minimum circumscribed circle (S3), and compares the radius of the minimum circumscribed circle with the diameter of the tool (S4). When the radius of the minimum circumscribed circle is smaller than the diameter of the tool, the method calculates a contour line machining trajectory or a helical machining trajectory, which is a circular trajectory that is a circle having its center at the central point of the machining portion and having the radius equal to the radius of tool (S5, S6).
