The arrangement has modules and bus modules. The bus modules are plugged together to form a bus. Each bus module has several numbered address lines. For two adjacent plugged-together bus modules an address line of one bus module that is not the line with the highest number is connected to the address line of the other bus module with a number higher by one and the highest number line is connected to the lowest number line of the other bus module.
