An EPG server (31) of a service provider (30) creates EPG information according to the information associated with a program of a broadcast station (50) and releases it outside the EPG server (31). An edition server (32) periodically acquires and edits the EPG information at a predetermined interval and releases the edited EPG information. A hard disc recorder (63) requests the edited EPG information from the edition server (32) via a network (41) according to a user instruction and the edited EPG information supplied from the edition server (32) according to the request is displayed on a monitor (64).
