<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the thin line reproducibility of monochrome printing in a color printing device. <P>SOLUTION: When a printing mode of printing data is, for example, not a CAD printing mode which regards the thin line reproducibility as important, or is the CAD printing mode and also full color, a normal PWM pattern table is set (S406).
