<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change control device for an automatic clutch type gear transmission in which shock due to engine inertia in down-shift speed change can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In this speed change control device for an automatic clutch type gear transmission, a synchronous gear transmission and an automatic clutch 4 with a plurality of speeds selective are provided. For speed change, the automatic clutch 4 is disconnected, and speed change gears are changed during the while.
