<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the phenomenon that a voltage source is directly impressed on an OLED to make it glow too much, the voltage source is directly impressed on a common electrode part to make a whole panel unable to operate, or a drive transistor and an OLED in pixels short-circuit at the same time to make an OLED element in the pixels unable to emit light making an operation impossible by an abnormal short circuit or an over-current generated at the drive transistor in the pixels due to incapacity of a manufacturing process and influence of fine particles. <P>SOLUTION: A ballast resistor is added between the drive transistor and the OLED, and a cascade circuit composed of the drive resistor, the ballast resistor and the OLED, or of the ballast resistor and the OLED is to be a redundant system.
