<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diabody-type bispecific antibody having low immunogenicity and high infiltration property to tumor tissue, producible in large quantity at a low cost, enabling easy modification of the function by genetic engineering, and exhibiting excellent effect, stability after administration, etc., even in the absence of a superantigen. <P>SOLUTION: The diabody-type bispecific antibody has the 1st specificity to human epidermal cell growth factor receptor and the 2nd specificity to a surface antigen expressed in a cell having phagocytotic action or cytotoxic action. The invention further provides a single strand polypeptide selected from two single strand polypeptides constituting the antibody, a region included in the polypeptide, a nucleic acid encoding the same, a replicable cloning vector or expression vector containing the nucleic acid, a host cell transformed with the vector, a pharmaceutical composition containing the same, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
