TERMINAL STRUCTURE OF LEAD STORAGE BATTERY AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that air-tight or liquid-tight between lead or a lead alloy of an electrode pole portion and a synthetic resin of a battery case or a battery case lid is impaired and a terminal is corroded when integrally forming the electrode pole portion with the battery case or the battery case lid.

SOLUTION: In a terminal structure winding a terminal seat 3 on an electrode pole portion 9 and inserting it into the battery case or the battery case lid to form in one body, a resin material 6 having an elasticity higher than that of a synthetic resin as a material of the terminal seat 3 is arranged between the terminal seat 3 and the electrode pole portion 9 in a form of winding the electrode pole portion 9.
