PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in low temperature fixability, anti-offset properties, glossiness, etc. SOLUTION: A resin composition for a toner containing a linear polyester resin (A) containing a 3-10C aliphatic diol component and a linear polyester resin (B) different from the resin (A) and containing a 3-10C aliphatic diol component, wherein when the total amount of all acid components is represented by 100 parts by mol, the ratio of (parts by mol of the 3-10C aliphatic diol component in the resin (B)) to (parts by mol of the 3-10C aliphatic diol component in the resin (A)) is within the range of 0.5-10, is used as a binder resin in the above toner.
