PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two picture display device and its method capable of performing two picture display by the minimum tuner in the case of performing the two picture display between analog broadcast and the two picture display between digital broadcast by correlating the digital broadcast with simultaneous broadcast of the analog broadcast. SOLUTION: The two picture display device is provided with a digital tuner, an analog tuner, a last CH storage part for storing the channel displayed in the previous time, a control part for controlling the digital tuner and the analog tuner, a video and sound output part capable of performing the two picture display and switches the tuners to be used for picture display by using the simultaneous broadcasting.
